PROMISED LAND ALBUM

$25.00

Nashville, Tenn. – Critically-acclaimed singer Danny Burns’ long-awaited Promised Land project is officially available today. The star-studded collection features collaborations with top acts like Sam Bush, Tim O’Brien, Bryan Simpson and Aine Burns. In total, the project includes 10 new recordings, all highlighting the Irish-born recording artist’s unique approach. Fans can download and/or stream the full album HERE.

Since the release of the lead single “Someone Like You” featuring Tim O’Brien, Burns has been extremely successful in generating waves. By putting an upbeat Bluegrass twist on Adele’s chart-topping ballad, the Roots singer went on to score his very first No. 1 hit on the Bluegrass Today Grassicana charts. Riding off of that success were follow-up charting singles “Some Might Say” and a heartfelt Bluegrass version of Sting’s classic, “Fields of Gold.” The latest single is the tune “Come to Jesus” featuring Folk legend Sam Bush (watch the official video HERE). Following its release earlier this summer, it’s already become a staple at radio, recently showing up on the Bluegrass Gospel charts.

Each track takes the Americana/Bluegrass hitmaker’s unique approach to the forefront of the music. On Promised Land, Danny connected with powerhouse industry veterans Brandon Bell and Neal Cappellino who both had significant contributions to the engineering, vocal production and mixing of the project. The entire record was recorded at the famous Doghouse Studio in Nashville.

Burns is hitting the road in support of the new record, performing at several different venues. This month has also seen him open a handful of shows for Americana legend Steve Earle. The dynamic pair are slated to perform this weekend in Hammondsport, NY at Point of the Bluffs Vineyards. Additionally, Burns has multiple album release shows scheduled for Annapolis, MD on September 1 at Rams Head On Stage, plus a performance in Nashville, TN on September 5 at the Virgin Hotel.

With the buildup to Promised Land, Danny has been featured by a variety of outlets. In addition to multiple video premieres on CMT earlier this year, he was recently featured in the August print publication Charleston Magazine for a profile piece that highlights the new project and the singer/songwriter’s storied career. Other publications taking notice are Rasputin Reviews, Ballyhoo Magazine, Vents Magazine and many others.
